The quickest way to relaxation

The town of Schönau is located north of Königssee, about 160 kilometres (100 miles) from Munich, and can be reached in two hours by car under average traffic conditions. The fastest route is via the A8 motorway towards Salzburg. At the Bad Reichenhall exit, take the B20 to Königssee. The Königssee car park is located few hundred meters from the shores of the lake and the valley station ‘Jennerbahn’. For a small fee, the car can be parked there all day. The tourist information located directly at the parking lot will help you to find your way.
