How to get to Rome from Ciampino?

Ciampino Airport G.B. Pastine (CIA) is smaller than Fiumicino Airport but is strategically located only 15 km away from Rome. The shortest route to the city centre takes around 20 minutes, which may vary depending on the traffic. We advise you to pass through Piazza Francesco Baracca and from there take Via Appia Nuova/SS7 in the direction of Roma Centro. To avoid heavy traffic, you can also proceed north on the A90/E80 or south on Via Ardeatina.
